Monday, November 1, 2004 - Finally, I've had an opportunity to update our family website after four
months. I had been working on a website for a travel agency so my efforts were all focused there.
We have a new addition to our family since I last wrote--we've adopted a cat. The cat, officially
named Sammy, showed up on July 12, 2004. He's been around ever since, and we've all (including Suzy and Alan) fallen
in love with him.

Well I got an extra day to get some things done. Danielle is home sick from school today with
the stomach virus--ruining her streak of perfect attendance. Fortunately, it's a nice raining day so she and I stayed
in bed until 11:45 AM--gotta love days like that.
Like everyone else we're getting ready for Christmas. We've decided to spend Christmas in Pennsylvania
this year. We're heading up on the 17th. Alan will be flying back on the 26th. Not sure when the kids and
I will head back to Georgia as we don't go back to school until January 5--a lot will depend on the weather. We'll be
staying at my parents' home so give us a call.
We've been enjoying watching the Steelers this year--like any Steeler fan. Watching the game
last night against Jacksonville was a little scary until the last minute, but fortunately, we pulled it out.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and make some time for church and
reflecting on the true meaning of Christmas. My pastor said something at church yesterday that has really stuck with
me. "The greatest love is not in giving, but in giving up. And there is a difference."
Blessings,
Michelle & Family
